Raúl Valdes González aka RAUPA is considered one of the best graphic designers in Cuba, he is an excellent illustrator, animator and audiovisual director. He was a professor at the Instituto Superior de Diseno (ISDI) in the subjects of illustration, poster and kinetic design. For twelve years he was responsible for the audiovisual image of the Casa de las Américas and every year he designs the image of events and institutions of the island that are of great importance. He currently lives and works in Havana, Cuba.
