Mathias was born in Royal Oak, Michigan/USA, in 1958 and studied later on fine arts in sculpture in Cologne. Today he is working as a photographer and designer. But beside that he is very passionate about road cycling. For years, the Ardennes classics Fleche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège are the great highlights and final of his personal spring training. This passion has led him to publish the photo book “Connected”, Northern Spring Races in 2015. Today he lives in Cologne.
